Leslie Chadwick has been a dancer nearly her whole life. She performed classical ballet and jazz dance with Boca Ballet Theater in south Florida through high school dancing in classics such as Swan Lake, Giselle and the Nutcracker. She went on to earn a minor in dance from the University of Colorado and also taught ballet to children and adults at the School of Atlanta Ballet. More recently, she performed in a dance showcase with dancers from the Hannah Kahn Dance Company and with a troupe at the Boulder International Fringe Festival. She will always have a love for ballet and modern dance, but about six years ago, she walked into her first Nia class and fell in love with the freedom she sensed in her body. She earned a White Belt from Jill Factor in Boulder in 2014 and a Blue Belt from Casey Bernstein in Albany, NY, in 2015. Now, sharing the joy of movement through Nia classes is her passion. She enjoys witnessing students find joy and health through movement. When not dancing, you can find her seeing live music or enjoying time with friends. By day, she is a communications manager at the Colorado Health Foundation.
