For 10 years Annie has been formally practicing and studying yoga all over the world. She received her 200-HR YTT certificate in Rishikesh, India and has studied in Los Angeles, Boston, Cambodia and now her hometown of Denver, where she considers herself a student just as much as she does a teacher. The perspective she has gained from learning yoga in so many places continues to reaffirm to her that yoga means something different to everyone, and it is ultimately a practice of Self-discovery.

In 2019, Annie returned to India to study Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda. The style of her classes are very much rooted in classical Indian yoga, and vary from alignment focused Hatha to Meditation and Yoga Nidra; each style is appropriate for students healing from injuries, beginners, or long-time students looking to be re-inspired by the roots of their practice. She blends her passion of ancient Eastern philosophies and modern Western cognitive studies to create a tranquil, light-hearted atmosphere splashed with the spirit of inquiry. Ultimately, Annie aims to provide students with practical ways of how to make yoga part of their every day life, rather than just something they “do” when they are at the studio.

Annie is the Writer and Founder of Cosmic Kundalini, a bi-monthly newsletter with tips on yoga, meditation, and how to navigate the energy of full and new moon. She believes when we take better care of ourselves we are taking better care of the planet.
