Jenny Bertrand is a Master Essentrics Instructor, teaching Essentrics in Denver since 2012. Growing up as an athlete, her training consisted of cardio and strength training. Flexibility training always seemed boring and interfered with time that could be spent on other “more rigorous” training. This approach resulted in knee pain and lower back pain and very poor flexibility.
After having her first daughter in 2002, Jenny found Classical Stretch on PBS during maternity leave. Quickly, her baby tummy flattened, the knee and back pain she’d experienced for years disappeared and her running form improved. She was hooked to Classical Stretch/Essentrics.

For 10 years Jenny followed Miranda Esmonde-White, the creator of Classical Stretch on PBS. After a retreat with Miranda in Estes Park in 2012, Jenny was convinced her future would be focused on helping others realize the benefits of Essentrics.

Jenny’s goal with her classes is to help everyone feel good in his/her own body. The Essentrics certification program requires a thorough understanding of anatomy and body mechanics as well as the technique to give students the benefits they seek. The movements are orchestrated to work and strengthen the body in a balanced way.

Jenny’s classes will help you:

  • improve physical appearance with better posture and slimming benefits
  • gain flexibility
  • strengthen and tone the entire body
  • eliminate or reduce joint pain
  • improve balance
  • boost metabolism
  • improve athlete performance through increased power and range of motion
  • have fun with toning and flexibility training!
