Shannon Sunderland has been both a student and a teacher of various forms of movement since she was a young girl and is never afraid to be the first person to get the party started on the dance floor. She has a deep desire to inspire other dancers to fall in love with their bodies, feel comfortable in their skin, and find the always-available pleasure that can be easily accessed through the joy of movement.
Shannon received her white belt in Santa Fe, NM with Kelle Rae Oien in 2017 and actively continues her NIA training in Denver with Dana Hood where she has been dancing with the iBODY community since 2016. She is also mama to her two young sons Lino and Elias, a formally-trained metal-smith and jewelry designer, and a project manager at the University of Colorado.
